We are strong believers in networks. We know that it takes a village to achieve our goals, and quite intentionally we pull the best talent from our network to assemble the “just right team” to create capacity, complementary perspectives, a range of skills, and depth of expertise. Some of our recent collaborators include:
- Leora Isaacs, co-designer of Connected Congregations, and our amazing “ConCon Coaches” Lianna Levine Reisner, Debra Brosan and Adena Philips.
- Big Duck, who was our partner on the Jewish Day School Social Media Academy and so much else, especially Farra Trompeter.
- See3 Communications, especially Miriam Brosseau, who is a collaborator in all things about storytelling and communications strategy.
- Alison Fine who has taught us so much about being a ‘Networked Nonprofit’ and ‘Matterness’, and has inspired so much in the leadership of her own synagogue and other organizations and causes.
We also believe strongly in sharing our work — both best practices and challenges. We have created, manage and/or participate in many Facebook Groups and other online spaces to encourage such collaboration, discussion and peer-learning and support. For example:
- The Connected Congregations Facebook group
- The Tribe: Jewish Non-Profit Tech and Communications (NTCJews) Facebook group
- The Tent, URJ’s Yammer-based collaborative workspace.
